Updated at: 1527 PST, Thursday, November 03, 2011 LONDON: Pakistan cricketers Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif and agent Mazhar Majeed will all be jailed for their parts in fixing parts of a Test match against England, a judge said Thursday. "These offences, regardless of pleas, are so serious that only a sentence of imprisonment will suffice," Judge Jeremy Cooke told the four at London's Southwark Crown Court. Mazhar Majeed awarded the punishment of 2 years and 8 months in jail. Salman Butt has been jailed for 30 months. Mohammad Asif jailed for one year. |
